(PatriotHQ) Democrats are attempting to do what every other socialist/communist country has done before them: destroy the middle class, gain unending power, establish a permanent welfare state, and create total dependence.
A Battle for Our Survival is in the works! Many things come to mind when we think of Thanksgiving. It tells us about our history, our struggles, our accomplishments, and our God.
The Left, most notably the Democrat Party, is desperately attempting to erase our history and forge a creative narrative…one of a negative account of capitalism’s failure during the colonial period, and one of socialism saving a doomed colony in Massachusetts.
The Left wants us to remember a skewed version of Thanksgiving. As President Reagan stated:
“It’s not so much that liberals are stupid. It’s just that they know a lot of things that aren’t true.”
The American way was established.
Our children are taught about Native Americans and how their tendencies toward collectivism and socialism saved us from extinction. Even the investors in that 1620 voyage, hoping to maximize their returns, agreed property, harvests, and earnings from the voyage would be held communally.
It wasn’t to be out of necessity or survival. The Mayflower did not land in Virginia as promised, but instead in Massachusetts, just in time for a harsh winter.
Death and starvation had no regard for people. 47 of the 102 pilgrims made it through the first winter. The Governor of the Plymouth Colony, William Bradford, wrote in his diary about the healthy men becoming resentful of the women who saw fit to care for the children. He told of the young and other less hardworking men sharing the same fruit of the few’s hard work. The crops began to wither and die as death and starvation crept in, a contentious reality.
By 1623, Bradford and his associates had abandoned socialism in favor of a private property system.
The American way was born.
Each family was given a plot of land. Families and single adults planted more than they required. Women with their children eagerly went into the fields to tend to their crops. Where there was once obvious incapacity and weakness, there is existing industry and hard work.
This is the Thanksgiving holiday.
Bradford later wrote, “Instead of famine, God has given them plenty… and the face of things was changed to the joy of many hearts, for which they blessed God….any general want or famine hath not been among them since to this day.”
The Pilgrims produced so much that they invited the friendly Native Americans to join them in their harvest feast of Thanksgiving, thanking God for showing them a better way. By 1624, they had begun to export food, laying the groundwork for the greatest nation ever conceived by man, blessed by God.
This is the Thanksgiving holiday.
We don’t deny that Native Americans assisted the Pilgrims in any way they could, but collectivism did not preserve them or produce anything resembling abundance or even adequacy. Capitalism produced the harvest of plenty that saved Europe from extinction twice in the twentieth century, giving countries like China justification to steal from the nation they want to emulate and destroy.
Make no mistake about it…
We are fighting for our lives.
I’m not exaggerating. If given unrestraint rein, the Left, as represented by existing Democratic Party, will destroy this country. This is not ordinary politics. These liberals, at least the leadership, are aware of the reality of socialism, but they are unconcerned. They are attempting to do what every other socialist/communist country has done in the past: destroy the middle class, gain unending power over the citizenry, and establish a permanent welfare state over the entire population, resulting in total dependence. They are destroying our economy and culture, encouraging sexual promiscuity, and instilling contempt for our laws and our belief in God’s superiority. Take a look around you. It really is that simple.
They’ve come a long way in their quest. They have already accumulated several generations of young people who are ignorant of our history and lack the benefit of the experience of those who tried something else and failed. They spread fallacy as fact and illusion as fact.
Make no mistake about it…We are fighting for our lives will we, can we survive?
