When critics discuss a “Christo-fascist agenda,” they mean more than old-fashioned conservatism. They’re pointing to a worldview that, in their eyes, seeks to:
- Enforce a narrow brand of Christianity through strong law and powerful government.
- Roll back rights to reproductive freedom, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ protections.
- Tie national identity to Christian identity, often in patriarchal or racist terms.
- Suppress dissent in the name of “moral order.”
The charge is serious: that religious faith isn’t just guiding private life but being weaponized to reshape public institutions and build a repertoire of talking points drawn from their vernacular arsenal.

The Left has coined a term that is both dangerous and alarming, and in America’s culture wars, words like these don’t just describe the fight. They escalate it.
