A man wins a women’s poker tournament, which starts a debate about whether men should be allowed in women’s sports events.
Dave Hughes, who is 70 years old, won more than $5,500.
On the weekend, a guy from Florida won a women’s poker tournament at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in the Sunshine State. This upset a lot of people.
Dave Hughes, who is 70 years old, joined the $250 no-limit Texas Hold’em event with a prize pool of up to $17,450. 82 of the 83 people who entered the game were women, and Hughes was the last man. The Las Vegas Review-Journal says Hughes won against Dayanna Ciabaton in the end and took home $5,555.
Hughes was able to play in the women’s tournament because anti-discrimination rules in Florida say casinos can’t stop men from playing in women’s tournaments.
The newspaper said the same rule applies to casinos in Nevada. The Ladies event at the World Series of Poker is a $10,000 buy-in tournament, but women get a 90% discount so men won’t join.

But not all enlightened progressive thinkers are happy! Once faced with newfound rights the liberals soon become ‘haters’ and turn into Neanderthal fascists ready to destroy democracy for their own selfish gain!
Haters, xenophobes and fascists were openly showing their dark mean-spirited bias at the once happy event as they turned it sour and bitter.
Here is what some anti-right haters are saying about our brave hero: “I don’t think guys should play in tournaments are just for women. Still, I think the few men who do enter are getting way too much attention. Most of the time, they want recognition, so why give it to them? Maybe we should just try our best and not pay attention to them. This is just my opinion, and you’re welcome to have your own. It makes fun of the idea anyone can call themselves a woman and be allowed in places for women,”
An anonymous hater openly said: “It’s a real problem people are taking advantage of in sports, jails, and changing rooms, among other places. “It’s too bad it takes away from the room for women only. Even though I might have the same complaints, I wouldn’t do it. We really need poker rooms for women only. Mixed poker can sometimes be a really horrible place for women to be. The trans problem is much easier to deal with in poker, where the stakes aren’t as high. The differences between male and female players are so small men don’t really have a reason to go where women are”.
Once again, the enlightened must bear the brunt of hate and ridicule as brave warriors of democracy use their constitutional rights to pave the way for an open and pure society!
