Republican politicians have passionately denounced the Department of Energy (DOE) for its audacity to dictate what light bulbs ordinary Americans can buy.
These representatives contend the DOE should emphasize energy independence above inconsequential things. In April 2022, the DOE arrogantly passed these cumbersome regulations, expecting that forcing Americans to transition to more expensive and faulty bulbs would miraculously lower their electricity rates.
The government is trying to regulate every part of our life and force their radical environmental agenda on industrious Americans. They’re also citing “carbon emissions” to defend this foolishness. It’s fearmongering and misinformation to subdue us. It’s unacceptable!

The arrogant DOE has threatened merchants to comply with their oppressive light bulb restriction or else! They think they can tell firms and consumers what to sell, violating their rights.
Biden’s draconian restrictions unfairly penalize the poor. It is a disgrace the left continues to promote its agenda at the expense of average Americans, deepening the economic disparity.
The DOE shamefully overturns a Trump administration rule that protected incandescent bulbs and gave customers choice. It’s government overreach and a flagrant disrespect for public opinion. Environmental groups brazenly praised the Biden administration’s draconian onslaught on efficient light bulbs as a long-overdue win.
