Bryan Hackbarth U.S. Senate Candidate: RECALLED Youngtown Mayor – EARMARKER!!!
Who is U.S. Senate Candidate Bryan Hackbarth?
Well, Hackbarth likes very fine cigars and beer and good company as he related the story at a forum
when asked what was something the voters ‘don’t know about you.’ Hackbarth responded that Wil Cardon bought (‘expensive’) cigars and beer for the two of them after some event about two or so months ago – or so the story goes ‘HE REALLY LIKES GOOD CIGARS BUT RARELY CAN AFFORD THEM.’
Not really a big issue, two guys enjoying the finer things except tobacco and alcohol are prohibited by Cardon’s Mormon belief system.
Well, Hackbarth made it known that he doesn’t like being filmed or recorded stating, ‘my opponent is known for using snippets of video against him.’ Too funny, up to May 9, 2012, Hackbarth hasn’t been able to give a coherent least a relevant response at any forum or group he has presented at. Challenge: produce any snippet of video or audio Clair VAN Steenwyk has put out directed at Hackbarth (after today doesn’t count). Perhaps, he is confusing himself with his beer/cigar buddy Cardon.
Up to this point in the campaign Hackbarth has been a non performer, but now he is PARROTING Steenwyk’s message right out of Van’s Campaign Web site “The Issues” and YouTube videos as he is picking up some of Van’s body language as well.

U.S. Senate Candidate Bryan Hackbarth said that he disagrees with Jeff Flake concerning EARMARKS. He saw no problem with funding earmarks for programs that are desperately needed by communities, such as roads or infrastructure. Where Van Steenwyk said money that the states get from the federal government for roads, infrastructure and other programs should be removed from the federal taxes a state collects before the money is sent on to the federal government. States shouldn’t have to beg the federal government for money that is rightfully theirs, he said.
What concerns me about Hackbarth is the VOTERS of Youngtown rejected him when he ran for Mayor in 2009 losing by 60%. That was after he was RECALLED (ousted) in 2006 where he had won the year prior by 52% (2005). What went wrong that the City of Youngtown voters, or should we ask ourselves is Hackbarth that disconnected he doesn’t know the voters in a one ZIP CODE town of 1.53 sq. miles? Perhaps we should ask why we are getting “Mayor Hackbarth” shoved down our throats by the media?
Not really a concern but rather a curiosity is Hackbarth’s past as reported by the Washington Guardian article “Skeletons Haunt Senate Hopefuls”. Another curious item is the spelling of the city his cleaning business is registered to “Youngstown” (Young–S-town), he’s only been in business coming up on 8 years, seems a little attention to detail would be in order – glad he ain’t cleaning anything of mine! Wasn’t Hackbarth Mayor of youngStown?
For Arizona State U.S. Senate your choices are simple:
VAN aka Christian Constitutional Republican?
Jeff Flake aka McFLAKE – do we really need two of them?
Wil Cardon aka Mr. PHOTOSHOP self-funded – I wil not be out spent?
Bryan Hackbarth aka RECALLED Youngtown Mayor: Skeletons Haunt Senate Hopefuls?
Van is my choice as what you see and hear is what WASHINGTON DC will get – our voice will be heard!
Contribute to VAN and see what a true FISCAL CONSERVATIVE can do compared to the million dollar boys.

Hackbarth also likes Harley’s and has an attitude to match. He showed up at his first council meeting as mayor on one and proceeded to have a power fit.
