Charles Black Withdraws Endorsement for Jim Deakin
With all due respect Charles, Jim hasn’t received an endorsement by you and has never claimed one.
As you know Jim’s campaign made the decision several weeks ago to remove your name and picture from his campaign website.
Your reasons for your withdrawal of an endorsement of Jim that doesn’t exist reads as if your campaign is having issues with no visibility or support whatsoever here in Northwest Phoenix, the southern part of your district that is your opponents strong hold.
It’s understood what Annette McHugh’ (Tea Party Patriots of Glendale) endorsement that was once withdrawn means to your campaign. Ms. McHugh is gracious in responding to your need publicly within two hours of your posting that she and her GOP Tea Party Front Group will reinstate their endorsement of you.
Myself, if I were running for office and wishing to maintain my integrity, reputation and ethical standards, I would avoid Annette McHugh who “now pledges her personal and public support for you”, as her “sincere concerns for Arizonan’s has just been validated” by your announcement concerning Jim Deakin.
Charles, do you want the support of someone who DOUBLESPEAK’s as Tea Party Patriots of Glendale/Annette McHugh has? They withdrew their endorsement of you because (McHugh) “It was brought to my attention that you were engaging in discussions of personal matters on a public forum/website” with no mention of the real reason being your support of Jim Deakin. Where that real reason (McHugh) “has just been validated” as per Ms. McHugh’ statement on Arizona Tea Party Patriots 2 hours after posting of your statement of endorsement withdraw of Jim Deakin for US Senate posted at 7:30pm.
